Launched in 2010, the Dolphins Cycling Challenge (“DCC”) is a one-day tri-county charity event. The purpose of the DCC is to increase cancer awareness, encourage healthy hobbies, and raise funds for the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. In 2016, DCC V raised $5,000,000 for Sylvester, making the DCC the largest event fundraiser in the NFL.

Rides begin in Miami-Dade at Sun Life Stadium, Ft. Lauderdale and in Palm Beach through the weekend. In addition to the ride a 5K was added in 2015 as to broaden our reach to a wider potential of participants. Lastly, during DCC VI we hosted our first Celebrity Golf Tournament at Turnberry that helped raise $250,000.

Michael graduated from the University of Michigan in 2005. He played and Lettered on the Michigan Football team. Michael has competed in one time in the Ironman (Louisville 2014) and six times in the Ironman 70.3.
